How do I use Betamethasone Neomycin?
All prescribed medication should be used in accordance with your prescriber’s instructions.
Is it recommended that a thin layer of the cream is applied to the affected skin only two or three times daily until improvement occurs. Once the symptoms are better the application of the cream can be reduced to once daily to maintain effects. Treatment should never exceed SEVEN days (FIVE days in children) unless it is under the supervision of a medical professional.
In adults with thickened plaques of psoriasis on the elbows and knees, the effects of the cream can be enhanced by covering the application with a polythene film (usually overnight).
The dosage should be reduced in patients with renal impairment.
